GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

 

Definitions

Villa Drossa : Entity in its capacity as a holiday rental company that offers its seasonal rental services.

Client :
 Any user of the website who orders, purchases or reserves the Products and services offered published on the Villa Drossa website.
Announcement:
 A web page that details the characteristics of a holiday rental or a product or service with a (detailed) description, features, photos, videos, availability and price schedule.

Other : Villa Drossa, Alpilles Provence and ByLomé are the publishers of the website, villadrossa.com as well as the directly linked sub-sites and URLs.

Beds24 is the software used for reservations and availability, Stripe is the secure payment solution used

 

The general terms and conditions of sale are the basis for the rental.

 

  1. RATES (2 types of rates can be proposed) :

A conditionally refundable rate with a deposit payment of 20 % of the rental price and services. This is due immediately on receipt of the booking confirmation. The balance is due 4 weeks before the start of the trip. For bookings made less than 4 weeks before the start of the trip, the full price of the trip must be paid immediately.

 

In the case of a non-refundable fare or promotion, the full price of the trip must be paid immediately.

 

  1. PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION IN CASE OF LATE PAYMENT

If the deposit and/or the balance due are not paid by the agreed deadline, Villa Drossa is entitled to cancel the booking, after giving notice with a new deadline, and to charge you a cancellation fee, in accordance with these cancellation conditions

 

  1. INCIDENTAL EXPENSES

According to the case law, fixed costs and compulsory fees that must be paid are included in the price of the reservation. Variable costs depending on the number of travellers, or consumption, such as tourist tax (regulated), linen and towels, cleaning, are paid with the reservation. Any additional costs such as change of linen and towels, additional cleaning, pool heating costs, additional services can be paid with the reservation or on site. The tourist tax is regulated and as a general rule children under 18 years of age are exempted

 

  1. DEPOSIT / SECURITY DEPOSIT / INSURANCE

A deposit will be requested by credit card pre-authorisation.

The deposit will be reimbursed on the spot after the rented item has been duly returned. The maximum period for refunding the deposit is 7 days. Dans certains cas, la caution peut être remboursée par virement après le départ des clients. Le remboursement n’exclut pas d’éventuelles prétentions de dommages et intérêts. Le client est responsable des dégradations provoquées pendant son séjour (sauf si celles-ci résultent d’une usure normale ou d’un vice d’équipement) et de certains risques liés à sa présence (incendie, dégât des eaux…) pour lesquels il doit être assuré. En cas de casse ou dommages, après concertation, votre assureur peut se mettre en contact avec Villa Drossa.

 

  1. ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE

Le jour de votre arrivée le logement est disponible à partir de 17h00 et le jour de votre départ doit être libéré avant 10h00 (nous pouvons effectuer un état de lieux de départ avec vous entre 08h00 et 09h30). Pour des arrivés et départs en dehors des horaires indiqués ci-dessus, veuillez nous contacter par email ou par téléphone.

 

  1. OCCUPATION OF THE HOLIDAY HOME

Le nombre maximum de personnes indiquées comprend également les enfants et nourrissons. Tout dépassement du nombre de personnes prévu autorise Villa Drossa à recalculer le loyer au prorata en ajoutant d’éventuels frais accessoires. En cas de non-respect des conditions générales nous nous réservons le droit de résiliation de la réservation. Ou en cas de constat sur place d’expulsion avec les autorités compétentes.

 

  1. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CLIENT, PRESENCE AND SUBLETTING

La personne qui effectue la réservation doit être un des occupants de la location. Si la réservation est effectué par une personne morale, le nom du représentant qui occupera le logement doit être communiqué lors de la réservation. Si ses conditions ne sont pas respectés, nous considérons la réservation non valable, le montant global de la réservation est dû et conservé par Villa Drossa. La personne (morale) qui effectue la réservation doit impérativement nous communiquer les noms et âges des personnes qui vont occuper le logement de vacances afin que nous puissions communiquer les noms aux autorités compétentes en cas de demande de ceux-ci. La Sous-Location est strictement interdite, nous ferons expulser les personnes par les autorités compétentes sans dommage et intérêts, les montants versés ne seront pas restitués.

 

 

  1. CLEANING AND PREPARATION FOR DEPARTURE BY EACH CUSTOMER

The guest shall clean the holiday home, independently of the final cleaning included in the price and carried out by the lessor. This cleaning by the client consists of cleaning the kitchen area, washing and putting away the dishes, removing all leftover food and waste, depositing the garbage and bottles in the city garbage bins provided and removing the sheets. The final cleaning carried out by Villa Drossa includes, among other things, the thorough cleaning and disinfection of each kitchen/kitchenette, each bathroom/shower/WC, and the washing of the floors, in accordance with the rules in force concerning Covid-19. We do not deposit your garbage and bottles. If the accommodation is left extremely roomy we reserve the right to charge the extra cost of cleaning in addition to the final cleaning included.

 

  1. BED LINEN, TOWELS AND OUTDOOR TOWELS

Bed linen and towels (bathroom) are included for the number of people staying. Pool and beach towels are not provided. If you are renting the house with fewer people than the maximum occupancy, bed linen and towels are provided for the number of people known at the time of booking. Additional linen and towels may be charged extra on site.

 

  1. BABY BEDS

Baby cots are generally suitable for children under 2 years of age and must be ordered at the time of booking and confirmed by Villa Drossa.

 

  1. PETS

Pets are not allowed, if pets are brought in without permission, Villa Drossa can demand the removal of the pets.

 

  1. SPECIAL CONDITIONS AND REMARKS

Unfortunately, the services we offer are not suitable for people with reduced mobility. We will be happy to provide you with information on this subject.

 

  1. CANCELLATION CONDITIONS FOR CONDITIONALLY REFUNDABLE FARES

Free cancellation possible up to 90 days before the start of your stay.

Cancellation with the following charges for arrivals within 90 days of the start of your stay:

Fee of 20% of the total rental amount excluding tourist tax for cancellation between 89 and 60 days

Fee of 50% of the total rental amount excluding tourist tax for a cancellation between 59 and 30 days

Fee of 95% of the total rental amount excluding tourist tax for a cancellation between 29 and 7 days

The full price of the trip will be charged in case of cancellation at least 6 days before the start of your stay.

Bookings with non-refundable rates are not (partially) refundable under any circumstances

The customer can take out travel and cancellation insurance (for example with Europ Assistance) who will examine whether the reasons for cancellation are valid for a partial or full refund.

Une modification de la réservation est uniquement possible en cas de disponibilité. Le tarif et les frais peuvent varier pour la demande de modification et doivent être acceptés par le client avant la validation de toute modification par Villa Drossa et par Villa Drossa en cas de demande de modification par le client.

 

  1. NO PRESENTATION OF THE CLIENT

In case of no-show by the client without having informed Villa Drossa, the latter will contact the client. If Villa Drossa does not hear from the client within 24 hours of the start date of the stay, the reservation will be cancelled and the accommodation will be released from its obligations. The full amount of the reservation remains due and will be retained by Villa Drossa.

 

  1. DEPARTURE BEFORE THE END OF THE STAY.

En cas de départ anticipé avant la fin de la date prévue, aucun remboursement au pro rata est prévu. Le client peut souscrire une travel and cancellation insurance which will consider whether the reasons for early departure are valid for partial or full reimbursement.

 

  1. HOUSING MODIFICATIONS

Ni la Villa Drossa, ni le client locataire n’ont le droit de modifier l’hébergement ou ses équipements pendant le séjour, sauf après un accord mutuel écrit ou pour le remplacement par l’Villa Drossa d’un appareil défectueux.

 

  1. DESCRIPTIONS

Any description of the holiday accommodation is for information purposes only, the equipment described on the website is in working order for normal use, the full list of equipment and inventory is available on request by email (email at top of page).
